This morning the usual crowd meet at Centennial Park for our usual mid-week run. Thankfully, Katie and I both had a shorter run this week, and even thought the temptation was there to go a bit longer, we decided a couple ks now is not going to make any difference, and all the hard work is done. There is no use cramming in extra the training in in the last couple of weeks, when we have worked so hard for a couple of months now.
The mornings are now getting darker again, so we started off running around the outside of the park, it's not the time now to start tripping over in the dark. Obviously it was still too dark for some us today when we finally hit the park, Spiderman (aka Razor) ran into a cob web and then broke into a routine that Tap_Dogs would be proud of. I found myself on cob web patrol, running ahead to ensure we didn't get an encore.
Finished a nice comfortable run of 11km at 5:40/km pace. A great start to the day!
