The Holiday is Over
Unfortunately today is last the day of holidays for me, so I enjoyed my a last sleep in for a while ;-(.
At this stage I don't run on Monday's, but I don't get off that easily. I went to the Gym for my "strength" session this afternoon. I did a bit of a warm up on the bike and then got stuck into some weights which included;
* glutes
* abductor and adductor
* chest and back
* rotary cuff
* biceps and triceps
* shoulders
* abs
I do enjoy these sessions, given my previous life use to include endless PUMP classes. I focus on keeping the correct balance of weights and reps to ensure I get the benefits without any muscle fatigue that may impact on my running.
